The Inn at Grace Winery Spring Wedding

Tess and Chris started their new adventure of marriage surrounded by their favorite people on a blustery April Saturday. Despite the wind doing its best to sweep everyone off their feet, their chosen spot, tucked away among rolling hills, The Inn at Grace Winery provided the perfect backdrop for their vows, reflecting the playful spirit of their love.

The adorable Sweetwater House, which is another added home owned by Grace Winery, where Tess got ready, was an absolute dream. The girls and her Mom, surrounded Tess with lots of love and fun, as she prepared for her wedding. I LOVE getting ready photos, they are my FAVORITE for so many reasons, but I just love the smiles and the candid shots of everyone just so happy for what is to come. The feels are everything and they show in every shot.

Chris was a little nervous, which was utterly ADORABLE. When we first arrived we found him and the guys already dressed several hours too early and he was going around neatly making sure everyone's ties were straight. I always love a Groom who is a bundle of nerves, it makes for the best photos, but also I just love the sweetness of it. Thank goodness they had planned on a first look prior to the ceremony, Chris only had to wait a short time to see Tess after we arrived, of which I am sure he appreciated!

For their first look, out of no where the sun finally arrived for the day. We had to torture Chris a little longer with an additional wait as Tess and her Father had their quick moment before the BIG moment we all, especially Chris, had been waiting for.

Finally, the moment had come and Chris and Tess got to see one another. The tears, the smiles, all the feels were present. If you are a couple going back and forth about a first look, here is a huge reason to jump on this train. The moment Chris saw Tess his entire energy had changed. The nerves were gone and he was smiling ear to ear, finally breathing once again and the emotion runith over! ALL THE FEELS!!! The emotional rollercoaster, was not over yet, one of the most touching moments of the day that spoke volumes about their bond was the gift Tess gave Chris during their First Look, Tess presented Chris with cufflinks adorned with a picture of him and his late mother, who could not be there physically but was undoubtedly present in spirit Each one carrying a special reminder of his mom's presence and it was a gesture that brought everyone to tears.

After the first look, we hide behind a adorable brick building, to block the crazy wind and dove headfirst into Family and Wedding party photos as fast as possible, before we were all blown away.

Their ceremony, led by a close friend, was a mix of giggles and happy tears, showing just how deep their connection runs. Tess and Chris couldn't stop beaming at each other, spreading joy with every glance and laugh. Their love, full of sweetness and light, wrapped everyone up in a big, cozy hug of happiness.

The reception was decorated with simple yet elegant details, which is exactly what Tess' vision for the day was and Leeanne, from Lux and Lovely events did an amazing job making sure Tess' vision came to life, down to every flower arrangement and bouquet, Leeanne wore many hats that day and did a wonderful job as usual.

Even though Mother Nature decided to shake things up with a windy surprise, the sunset came to the rescue, painting the sky in shades of gold and pink and giving their promises the spotlight they deserved.

Capturing their love story through my lens felt like being part of something truly magical. Tess and Chris, your love lights up the world around you, and I'm grateful to have been a part of your journey. Here's to a lifetime of unforgettable moments and endless happiness! Cheers to you both!
